While researching the next jQuery in XPages article I came across a QR code designer page which allows you to add your own image into the code itself.

You need to use the latest Chrome or FF browsers to get the full effect as he uses Drag and Drop to pull in the image but you can make something like this – how cool is that !!

Adding a logo or other image in the QR Code is making it a lot more personal indeed.
One thing though, your QR Code scans to a full blown website which is hard to read at a mobile device.
This is a very common problem, I prefer to let people land on a mobile optimized landing page instead (which I linked to the website field of this form, don’t know if that links when published. If not: http://qr.gl/m/Hans
